JOB DESCRIPTION / Waiter Room Service
PURPOSE & SCOPE
OF POSITION
To serve food and beverage to the guest
as requested by the Supervisor. To charge accordingly guests usage and maintain
control over stocks by following procedures.
1)
To
prepare trays/trolleys for the delivering of orders to guestrooms and the
collecting of signatures on bills.
2)
To
collect used trays and trolleys from rooms and corridors.
4)
To
be wholly responsible for stock on your trolley.
5)
To
attend daily taste panels.
6)
To
adhere to all SOPs related to food service.
7)
To
deliver all VIP gifts.
8)
To
deal with guest enquiries.
9)
To
have excellent knowledge of the menu.
10)
To
attend the daily 15-minute training sessions.
11)
To
clean trolleys and hot boxes as directed by the Supervisor.
12)
To
follow the correct telephone answering procedure.
13)
To
cash up at the end of the shift.
14)
To
check roll printer for any printed order.
15)
To
ensure a bill is made through Micros for all orders.
16)
To
close guest checks when orders is being delivered and complete the cashier
summary list.
17)
To
collect stores and linen as directed by the Supervisor.
18)
To
report any articles lost or found to Security.
19)
To
report any health and safety hazards immediately to a Supervisor.
20)
To
adhere to all rules and regulations of hotel employee handbook.
21)
To
keep clean and tidy uniform and appearance at all times.
22)
To
keep the room service area clean and tidy at all times.
23)
To
help other F&B areas whenever is needed.
